Devil From Above

At last my world is turning, though time is standing still
These dark night share a yearning of our love and our freewill
And I won't be persuaded by the greed of young girls' lust
I ain't the one for thinking twice, don't think I'll ever give that up
Nighttime calls and the darkness falls
But my eyes stay open wide
And when I'm uptight and nothing's right
I embrace the other side
All I need is some good luck
A little fun on the backstreets
It's last call for some whiskey
With the red devil from above
So raise a glass to the sunrise
Here's a toast to the unknown
I'm gonna dance to the lullaby of the
Red devil from above
Set sail on a sea of asphalt
Where the wheels and dead men go
She won't cry tomorrow
If I keep her on her toes
We've got skeletons in the closet
Lies swept under the bed
She's got a longhorn for a locket
And I keep it warm on my chest
These foreign skies bring souls to life
But turn innocence to dust
The falling leaves hold the key
And I hold onto trust
All I need is some good luck
A little fun on the backstreets
It's last call for some whiskey
With the red devil from above
So raise a glass to the sunrise
Here's a toast to the unknown
I'm gonna dance to the lullaby of the
Red devil from above
Some folks say that grown men never change
Other folks will tell you that no one stays the same
If you ask me for sympathy, it's a lesson I done learned
All I need is some good luck
A little fun on the backstreets
It's last call for some whiskey
With the red devil from above
So raise a glass to the sunrise
Here's a toast to the unknown
I'm gonna dance to the lullaby of the
Red devil from above
The red devil from above
The red devil from above
The red devil from above
